Service & Production Specialist
The Mission and Momentum:
Odd.Bot is developing the Maverick: an autonomous robot that removes weeds without chemicals, thereby surpassing conventional agriculture. As we scale up to an operational fleet of over 100 robots in Northwest Europe in the coming years, we’re looking for an operational jack-of-all-trades who will ensure our quality standards and take the pressure off our farmers. You’ll be the bridge between the factory, our internal team, and the customer in the field. You’ll oversee our external production, manage our assets, and be the go-to hero for our customers during peak season.

Your Mission and Outcomes:
At Odd.Bot, we don’t focus on abstract tasks or hours worked—we focus on results. As an absolute A-player, you’ll only be considered successful if you achieve the following outcomes in your first year:
Flawless Production: You’ll oversee our external assembly partner. You’ll ensure that new batches of Mavericks are delivered on time, fully tested, and with 100% quality assurance (QA) before the start of the growing season.
Tight Asset Management: With over 100 robots soon to be on the market, you’ll maintain a clear overview. You’ll flawlessly manage which robot is located at which customer or dealer and ensure that all software licenses are up to date.
High-Quality Customer Support: During the growing season, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers. You’ll proactively resolve issues, promptly escalate complex malfunctions to R&D, and help ensure our Customer NPS rises to an 8+.
The Behavior We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a pragmatic and meticulous doer. You identify with our Odd.VALUES:
Quality-Oriented (Reliability): We promise and deliver robust performance. You take a critical approach to suppliers’ output and maintain meticulous records.
Agile (Agility): Our goal is clear; we’ll forge our own path. You thrive in changing dynamics: from maintaining a calm overview during the production phase to putting out fires in a solution-oriented way during the busy growing season.
Clear Communicator (Transparency): We work openly together. You communicate honestly and clearly with farmers, dealers, and our own engineers.
Stress-Resistant & Analytical: If a robot in the field comes to a standstill, you remain calm. You quickly analyze the problem and make the correct diagnosis before taking action.
What We Offer
A key operational role in a growing impact scale-up with tangible high-tech products (robotics/AI).
A dynamic position with a great balance between technology (production/assets) and people (customer contact).
A culture where we work like a top-tier sports team, take collective responsibility for our social BHAG, and communicate openly with one another.
A competitive salary (between €3,500 and €4,500 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience) in an environment where you’ll have a direct impact on making global agriculture more sustainable.
27 vacation days.
A solid retirement plan.
What qualifications do you definitely bring to the table?
A completed bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field.
3 to 5 years of experience with machine assembly, production processes, and a solid understanding of quality assurance.
Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Proficiency in German and/or French is a plus.
Are you the top performer who will keep our fleet running smoothly?
Don’t send us a generic cover letter. In your response, tell us exactly how you’ve successfully managed external production or technical assets in the past, how you’ve solved customer problems under pressure, and what concrete results you’ll deliver for us.
We look forward to hearing from you!
